E-commerce is in luck and the company is enjoying the benefits of customers’ trust, specially on online retail, brokerage and travel categories, according to the American Customers Satisfaction Index report. Those websites got 81 points over 100 in the survey due to in part, as they explain, to strong performances smaller e-retailers and brokerages.

But Amazon got the highest marks. Foresee, a company focused on customers’ needs and likes, has also found that Amazon got a good recognition on its e-commerce research and the CEO of the company, Larry Freedhas, has an opinion about it:

Brick and mortar retailers are not conceding the Internet to online natives such as Amazon. They are investing heavy resources in providing a better experience for their customers, providing more evidence that competition is good for the consumer.

Both studies remark that the continuous invest in customers and the development of multichannels to bring new platforms of communication and business are one of the success’s secrets that companies such as Amazon are following.
