Smartphones arrived to remain, and our daily routines change with them. Combining e-commerce (by apps) with traditional and physical shopping, the newest trend is to use the mobile to make your shopping lists in your device.
These helpful application in smartphones as an essencial step, and it’s revolutionary too, due to the target they are reaching: Mothers. Usually, mobile phone and tablet companies attract youths and businessmen, but barely women over 30.
According to a research leaded by Altl12 apps, a 70% of surveyed U.S. mothers stated that they are using their smartphone or tablet while shopping.
And even more, a 93% of moms shopped significantly more on their mobile devices in 2012 than in 2011.
The success has many reasons. While shopping, women are checking retailer offerings, discounts and–companies, take note–comparing products and prices [editor's note: this is called showrooming]. 60% reported that retailer apps are most popular to help make purchase decisions.
The amazing rise of numbers should be taken into account by companies that hesitate about developing an app for their commerces, or those one that do not pay attention to the price updates or offers notices on their websites.
