Beyond the screens of electronic devices, Google could become. Not just typing, but touching. Fik Observatory reports on the rumours of the 9to5google blog about a probable opening of a Google physical store in the United States at Christmas break. Just like Apple did some time ago.
To get products into more hands, Google will opens its own stores by the end of the year.

According to the blog, the aim of this step is to get new Google Nexus, Chrome, and especially upcoming products into the hands of prospective customers. Google feels right now that many potential customers need to get hands-on experience with its products before they are willing to purchase.
The beginning of physical stores could be the near launched of Google Glass, an expensive gadget that allows to record videos and take pictures from the glasses at the same time that sharing information thought Internet (Google is looking for volunteers to try Google Glass!), and for sure the customers would prefer to try them before purchasing.
Currently, Google owns stands dedicated to Chrome inside big stores and airports in the United States and United Kingdom, like BestBuy or Dixen’s where customers recive advice from experts. But the aim is not selling, just explaining the products.
